Most good robot-vacuums have been compatible with smart-home systems like Google Home or Amazon Alexa for some time, and the Ecovacs Deebot X1 is too, however not many people actually get around to setting it up.
Ecovacs are the first major brand to include voice-activation out of the box, which they’re calling Yiko. Now, you can simply say “OK Yiko, clean the kitchen” and your robot vacuum will head off to clean the area. You don’t even need to take your phone out and find the app!

Hi, want to connect to home assistant for cleaning every day once when we are not at home. workd well but I do not get the function last cleaning filled. With that it will be possible to check if it was allready running toda. Any advice?

what is the alternative of “ok yiko” ?
I’m not sure that there is, at least in English. I presume there are alternatives in other languages!

My yiko commands are not working.
Yiko will not mop for me even when I have mops on and ask her to. Or don’t ask her to just send her off.

You probably want to contact Ecovacs support. Try talk in different pitches/accents to see if it’s just ignoring you or whether it’s just not working at all.
