    Robomate will manage the warranty process for all robots purchased from us subject to the timeframe advertised at time of purchase and the manufacturer's warranty conditions. For brands which aren't Narwal or Mammotion, warranty repairs will be facilitated via a third-party service center.

Warranty Terms

All robots purchased from Robomate come with a limited manufacturers warranty. Specific policies apply to the following brands.

Robomate is not obliged to service the warranty for products not purchased directly from us.

Mammotion Mowers

1. Warranty Coverage:

1.1. The robot lawnmower (hereinafter referred to as “the Product”) is covered by a limited warranty from the date of purchase. The period of this warranty is published on the Product page of this website at time of purchase. This warranty covers the main robot unit, including its battery.

1.2. The charger included with the Product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.

1.3. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser (“the Customer”) and is non-transferable.

2. Warranty Exclusions:

2.1. The warranty does not cover tires, accessories (such as blades), or any cosmetic damage to the Product.

2.2. The warranty does not cover damage or malfunctions resulting from misuse, negligence, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, accidents, natural disasters, or any other circumstances beyond normal and intended use.

2.3 Inadequate packaging for return freight.

2.4 Products with a serial number which has been adjusted, tampered with, or is missing.

2.5 Insufficient internet connectivity strength.

2.6 Compatibility issues with specific user devices.

3. Routine Maintenance:

3.1. The Customer is responsible for performing routine maintenance on the Product as outlined in the manufacturer’s user manual. Routine maintenance includes tasks such as cleaning, inspection, and tightening of relevant components. A failure to do reasonable maintenance, as advised in the user manual, may void the warranty.

4. Return to Base Warranty:

4.1. In the event of a warranty claim, the Customer is responsible for returning the defective Product to the place of purchase or an authorized service center at their own expense.

4.2. The Product must be returned in its original packaging or packaging that provides equivalent protection to prevent damage during transportation.

5. Warranty Process:

5.1. To initiate a warranty claim, the Customer must provide a proof of purchase, including the purchase date and the serial number of the Product.

5.2. The warranty claim must be made within the applicable warranty period, as mentioned in Section 1.

5.3. The manufacturer or authorized service center will, at their discretion, repair or replace the defective parts or the entire Product. Replaced parts or the Product itself may be new or refurbished.

5.4. Any repaired or replaced parts will be covered by the remaining duration of the original warranty or 90 days from the date of repair/replacement, whichever is longer.

6. Limitations and Liabilities:

6.1. The manufacturer’s liability under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts or the Product itself, as described in Section 5.

6.2. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or malfunction of the Product, including but not limited to loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use, or any other economic loss.

7. Other Conditions:

7.1. This warranty is in addition to any rights the Customer may have under consumer protection laws and regulations applicable in their jurisdiction.

7.2. The warranty terms outlined herein constitute the entire agreement between the Customer and the manufacturer, and no other representations, warranties, or commitments are expressed or implied.

By purchasing and using the Product, the Customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions of this warranty, including the routine maintenance and service requirements. The manufacturer reserves the right to modify these warranty terms without prior notice.

Narwal Cleaners

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1. Narwal warrants that the robot vacuum and mop units listed below (collectively referred to as “the Product”) are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, subject to the exclusions and limitations outlined in this policy.

1.2. The warranty period is outlined on the specific product page of this website at time of purchase.

1.3. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser (“the Customer”) and is non-transferable.

1.4. This Limited Warranty is only valid and enforceable in New Zealand, where the Product was originally purchased.

2. Warranty Exclusions

2.1. This Limited Warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear (incl. batteries)
  • Accessories or consumables
  • Cosemtic damage which doesn't affect functionality
  • Products which have been tampered with
  • Products with a serial number that has been tampered with or is missing
  • Products purchased from any other party.

2.2. The warranty is void in cases of:

  • Improper or negligent use, installation, or storage
  • Damage due to accident, fire, water, lightning, or other natural causes
  • Battery tampering or misuse
  • Use of non-approved parts or accessories
  • Unauthorized repairs, modifications, or alterations
  • Insufficient wireless signal strength or internet connectivity
  • Inadequate packaging during return transport.

3. Routine Maintenance

3.1. The Customer is responsible for performing routine maintenance as outlined in the manufacturer’s user manual.

3.2. Failure to follow reasonable maintenance procedures may void the warranty.

4. Return to Base Warranty

4.1. In the event of a warranty claim, the Customer is responsible for returning the defective Product to the place of purchase or an authorized service center at their own expense.

4.2. The Product must be returned in original or equivalent protective packaging.

5. Warranty Process

5.1. To initiate a claim, the Customer must contact Robomate Customer Support team through official channels during the warranty period.

6. Limitations and Liabilities

6.1. Robomate’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement as described in Section 5.

6.2. Robomate is not liable for:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Business interruption or loss of use
  • Indirect, special, or consequential damages
  • Where permitted by law, Narwal’s total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the Product.
  • Nothing in this warranty excludes or limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or other applicable consumer protection legislation.

7. Other Conditions

7.1. This warranty is in addition to and does not affect any rights the Customer may have under New Zealand consumer law.

7.2. This policy constitutes the entire warranty agreement between Robomate and the Customer. No other oral or written warranty shall apply.

7.3. Robomate reserves the right to amend this warranty policy without prior notice.

By purchasing and using the Product, the Customer agrees to the terms and conditions of this warranty.

Liability - All Products

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robomate’s total liability arising from the use, malfunction, or failure of any product shall be limited to the original purchase price paid by the Customer for that product.

Robomate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses or damages, including (but not limited to) loss of use, loss of data, loss of income, damage to property, or third-party claims.

In the event of a suspected fault or malfunction in any autonomous product, the Customer must immediately cease use and contact Robomate customer support within a reasonable timeframe. Continued use of a potentially faulty product may result in further damage or void any applicable warranty.

Robomate is not responsible for any claims, damages, or losses arising from third-party use, unauthorized modifications, or operation in a manner inconsistent with the user manual.


Robomate is not liable for product performance issues or damage resulting from external factors beyond its control, including but not limited to weather events, terrain conditions, wireless interference, or power surges.


It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure correct setup, mapping, and configuration of the autonomous product, including defining no-go zones and safe operating boundaries.


Customers are advised to maintain appropriate insurance for property damage or third-party liability, especially when operating autonomous machinery in shared or high-risk environments.
