Before you begin, familiarize yourself with all the components included in your sweeper kit:

  4. Handle attachment
  5. Basket with structural components - Collection system
  6. All necessary screws and Allen key

Important: You'll need a screwdriver with both Phillips and hex/Allen key heads.

Step-by-Step Installation Guide

Phase 1: Installing the Additional Battery

  1. Safety First: Power Off

    • Press and hold the power button on top for 10 seconds until all lights turn off
    • Ensure the mower is completely powered down before proceeding
  2. Access the Battery Compartment

    • Flip the mower over onto its back
    • Locate the 6 screws between the two rear wheels
    • Important: Don't fully remove screws - unscrew until you hear them start to click
  3. Prepare for Battery Installation

    • Carefully pull all cables to the side gently to avoid damage
    • Identify the ports: white plug with white connector, black with black
  4. Insert the Battery

    • Position the battery with Mammotion logo facing the middle
    • Slide the battery in so screw holes align with ports below
    • Connect white plug to white port, black to black
    • Tighten all screws securely
  5. Cable Management

    • Tuck black cables down as deeply as possible
    • Place white cables on top
    • Ensure no cables are pinched or obstructed
  6. Seal the Compartment

    • Replace cover with sharp angle towards back, smooth angle towards front
    • Check gasket area is clean, no dirt present
    • Verify cables aren't pinched for proper seal
    • Tighten all screws firmly

Phase 2: Assembling the Sweeper Handle

  1. Align Handle with Sweeper Unit

    • Match handle holes with corresponding holes on sweeper
    • Should slot straight on easily
  2. Secure with Screws

    • Use the larger hex-head screws provided
    • Secure all four screws tightly

Phase 3: Constructing the Collection Basket

  1. Basket Structure Assembly

    • Take basket lid and flip upside down
    • Grab the structural piece and slot into place

  2. Attach Side Covers

    • Slot first cover over and screw in tightly

    • Slot second cover over and secure
  3. Roof Attachment

    • Line up start of plastic with clip start on cover
    • Press down firmly until you feel it click
    • Work your way around entire perimeter
  4. Front Structure Installation

    • With basket upside down (cover facing down)
    • Slot front piece into plastic channel on top of bag
    • Rotate around and slide into two channels on sides
    • Ensure it sits firmly against front section
  5. Final Basket Assembly

    • Position assembled basket over sweeper mount
    • It should sit securely in place

Phase 4: Attaching Sweeper to YUKA

  1. Mount Sweeper Unit

    • Position sweeper over rear wheels of YUKA
    • Slot into place securely
  2. Connect Power

    • Grab power plug and connect to YUKA
    • Should click into place securely

Phase 5: Optional Counterbalance Weight

When to use: Recommended for properties with steep slopes
Purpose: Adjusts weight profile to prevent wheelies on inclines

Installation:

  1. Remove white cap from top (just in front of camera)
  2. Screw counterbalance weight onto mounting point
  3. This provides additional stability on challenging terrain

Removal Process
