Why this Robomate
Finds its way under trees
LiDAR and AI cameras work together, so it holds its line under trees and beside buildings. There's no boundary wire to lay.
Handles slopes and soft ground
All-wheel drive climbs slopes up to 80% (38.6°) and keeps its grip on wet, uneven lawns.
Sees and steers around obstacles
AI vision recognises 300+ obstacle types and adjusts its path around them.
Cuts to suit your grass
Two 6-blade discs cut a 400 mm path at 25–70 mm, and adjust speed and power to how thick the grass is.

Real Kiwi lawns, mowed by Robomate
Transformed tens of thousands of lawns, from paddocks to masterpieces
Does it need a boundary wire?
No. These mowers use satellite positioning, LiDAR and cameras to map and navigate your lawn, so there is no wire to lay or repair.
Will it work under trees?
Models with LiDAR keep their position under tree cover and near buildings, where satellite-only mowers can lose signal. Check the navigation spec above.
Can I set it up myself?
Yes. You map the lawn by driving the mower around the edge in the app, and our video guides walk you through it. Professional installation is available if you'd rather we did it.
Does 4G cost extra?
Models with a 4G module include the service for the period shown in the specifications, so the mower stays connected even where Wi-Fi doesn't reach.
What does the warranty cover?
See the warranty in the specifications above. Repairs and servicing are handled by our New Zealand workshops.
How often should it mow?
Usually several times a week. Little and often keeps the lawn healthy, and the fine clippings act as natural mulch.
